seeking my mothers approval

After months of inactivity, I'm out to redeem myself in my mothers' eyes. This is the first card I've made in a while... the past few months have been a bit crazy with graduating from college, moving, and searching for a place. So now that all my stuff is out of storage I am ready to scrap again.
I later stamped "thank you" in small letters at the bottom. This was my first experience using a bottle cap, mother must be proud.

Graduation

It's official - I am now a college graduate! SUU graduation was May 5th and it was a really good commencement ceremony. You know how most graduations are long and boring, well the convocation exercise involved just our college (humanities and social sciences) so it was smaller and short. This is me with my parents. And below is my husband and I.

It's nice to be finished but I sometimes forget I don't have to go
back to school in the fall.
