Luck o' the Irish

For our January card swap we had to use a template... that was the only rule. Here's my St. Patrick's Day interpretation.

Christmas sour cream containers

These make cute neighbor gifts! They're called sour cream containers. I found step-by-step instructions on splitcoaststampers.com. I made mine a bit bigger than the instructions said so it holds 8 or 9 mini candy bars. I used a paper crimper to seal the ends and stamped a cute Christmas saying to put on the front. They are super easy!

new years card

It's time for my second card swap! The theme was "holiday". I chose New Years and went with a black and gold theme. I used the "A Brand New Year" stamp from Stampin' Up! and found festive paper at Joann's. Happy new year!

Twilight

--Bella Swan, Twilight

My mom and I love Twilight! We made these blocks from a kit we got at Heartland Paper. It was really easy to do, and I love the little embellishments... there's a tiny fork on the letter "l".

Wicked Halloween

My mom and I love Wicked the musical. So, when we saw the kit from Heartland Paper we just had to buy it! These are my finished Wicked letters. I painted them black and glued scrapbook paper to the front. They're sitting on top of my fireplace and for the finishing touch, a witch's broom.

Card Swap

I joined my first card swap! Some ladies at work started one. For our first swap, the theme was "birthday". We made 12 cards and got one card of our own plus 11 others. It was fun to see how different each one was. Here's mine...
