dinner is served
This card is a spin off of the name tag I created for my writing class. I used Stampin' Up!'s "Viola",
"fishy friends" and "too terrific tags" sets. I colored the image with watercolor pencils.
Bon Appetite!

the fashion of music
I've been experimenting with Paper Fashions and this is my latest creation. This dress reminds of 'Stepford's Wives' meets 'Sound of Music'. I think it's rather cute with the matching neck scarf and red hem at the bottom.

bride bliss
My sister-in-law is getting married on Saturday and that's what inspired this dress. I used vellum on the skirt and as the shrug over the dress. I may use it on their wedding card.

My grandma passed away yesterday, it kind of happened unexpectedly for me. At least there's some comfort in knowing she's with my grandpa and they're happy together. I miss them so much.

nametag
In my tech writing class, my professor wanted us to make a name tag so she could get to know us better. I overachieved and applied my scrapbooking/cardmaking skills to create the cutest name tag in class. I won the "multi-dimensional" award!
I made my name tag with the "Viola" Stampin' Up set and my name was spelled with Scrabble pieces.

"Girls Night Out" ~ Paper Fashions
I created my very first paper fashion! I call it "Girls Night Out". It was so much fun and I made it as I watched Grey's Anatomy last night. My favorite part of the outfit are the boots, because they look like snakeskin. There will be many more fashions coming so keep a look out!

let it snow
So Cedar City got hit hard last night with tons of snow! This is looking out from our apartment. Our car was stuck a bit after they had plowed the parking lot and left big piles behind all the cars, but we got it out. We probably got a good foot of snow!
